Minnesota Twins outfielder and Hall of Famer Kirby Puckett used this Louisville Slugger P339 Model bat during the 1995 season. 1995 was the Hall of Fame outfielder’s last season, as an occlusion in one eye rendered him partially blind and unable to play baseball at a high level. He still played well that season, hitting .314 with 23 home runs and 99 RBI to go along with his 10th consecutive All-Star Game appearance. This bat, a tan Louisville Slugger, shows moderate to heavy wear and is cracked. A small chunk is missing from the handle because of the crack. The remainder of the handle features evidence of Mota stick and pine tar use. Puckett’s number “34” is written in black Sharpie on the knob of the bat. This item comes with an LOA from the Minnesota Twins.
