If you look up the lifetime and single-season records for wide receivers, you’ll find the name Jerry Rice at the top of most categories. For two decades, Rice assembled a career so spectacular that NFL Films would later rate him as the greatest player in NFL history.

     Rice wore this San Francisco 49ers road jersey during the 1991 season in which he recorded 80 catches for 1,206 yards and 14 touchdowns. The white mesh jersey has Rice’s number “80” on the front in red tackle twill. The Wilson label is sewn in the lower left front tail with size “44” and “DT” (June 1991) hang tags affixed. Each sleeve has three red appliqué stripes and Rice’s number “80” in red tackle twill. The back of the jersey has a “RICE” sewn on in red tackle twill on a matching white nameplate with and his number “80” sewn on below, also in red tackle twill. The jersey shows moderate game use with some toning and abrasion scuffs visible throughout. The lettering has some loose threads visible and exhibits slight puckering from laundering. The jersey comes with a full LOA from MEARS for the game use.
