Presented is an Official Major League Robert D. Manfred Jr. baseball signed by Hall of Famer Greg Maddux. Known as “Mad Dog”, Maddux was a star pitcher for the Chicago Cubs and the Atlanta Braves. His highly decorated career consists of a being the first pitcher in the MLB to be a Cy Young Award winner four consecutive times (1992 – 95). Additionally, he is the only pitcher to win at least 15 games for 17 consecutive seasons. This ball is signed in bold blue ink across the sweet spot and he inscribed “92. 93-94-95 NL Cy” above the sweet spot, while below has written his nickname “MADDOG”.
