Offered here is a framed display containing seven cuts signed by sports legends.

The first cut is signed by legendary heavyweight Muhammad Ali. Ali compiled a 50-6 record in his career, along with obtaining countless heavyweight title belts. The Greatest of All-Time, Ali is widely regarded as the most influential and important boxer and athlete of the 20th century. He signed this notecard in black pen, adding the inscription “Three Time World Heavyweight Champ.” He also added a small drawing of a boxing ring. The notecard is dated May 27, 1985.

The second cut is signed by Al Simmons, a slugging outfielder who spent the majority of his career with the Philadelphia Athletics. Simmons finished his career with a .334 batting average and 307 home runs. Simmons was inducted into the MLB Hall of Fame in 1953. He signed this cut in black pen and dated it April of 1930.

The third cut is signed by Hall of Fame leftfielder Zack Wheat, one of baseball’s dead ball era stars. Wheat played all but one year of his career for the Brooklyn Suberbas/Robins/Dodgers. As with many dead ball stars, Wheat was mainly a contact hitter, who finished his career with a .317 batting average and 2,884 hits. Wheat signed this card in blue pen.

Fourth is a cut signed by Hall of Fame manager Leo Durocher. Durocher enjoyed a long but unspectacular career over 20 seasons, but earned his reputation as one of the greatest managers in baseball. He managed the Dodgers, Giants, Cubs, and Astros, winning four World Series. He is one of the few managers to win over 2,000 games, finishing his career with a record of 2,008 wins and 1,709 losses. He signed this cut in black ballpoint pen.

The fifth cut is signed by Leo “Gabby” Hartnett, a Hall of Fame catcher from the Chicago Cubs. Hartnett won the 1935 NL MVP award and made six consecutive All-Star teams between 1933 and 1938. He was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1955. Hartnett signed the cut as “Leo ‘Gabby’ Hartnett” in black pen.

Sixth is a cut signed by legendary Yankee manager Joe McCarthy. McCarthy led the Yankees to seven World Series titles in his 16 years in the Bronx. He is a member of the Hall of Fame and he signed this lined index card in blue ballpoint pen.

The seventh cut is signed by Phil Rizzuto, a Hall of Fame shortstop who played his entire 13-year career for the New York Yankees. Rizzuto won an MVP award in 1950, and was named to five All-Star teams. The Veterans Committee inducted Rizzuto into the Hall of Fame in 1994. He signed this cut in blue ballpoint pen.

These items have been pre-certified by Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication.
