Offered here is a cut signed by three former members of the Pittsburgh Pirates, Honus Wagner, Lloyd Waner, and Bob Elliott.

Wagner was the Pirates first true star, joining the team in 1900. He was a slick fielding shortstop with a hot bat that helped him win 8 National League batting titles. Wagner was a terror on the basepaths, leading the league in stolen bases five times. Wagner was a generational talent, and was named to the Hall of Fames inaugural class in 1936.

Lloyd Waner signed his name under Wagner’s. Known as “Little Poison,” Waner played for the Pirates during the 1920’s, 30’s, and 40’s with his brother Paul “Big Poison” Waner. Lloyd was primarily a contact hitter who finished his career with a .316 batting average. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1967.

The final signature belongs to Bob Elliott, a third baseman and right fielder who spent most of his career with the Pirates and Boston Braves. Elliott made six All-Star teams and won the 1947 NL MVP Award.

All the signatures are written in black pen on this 3 x 5 inch index card. Below the signatures is a reproduction of the famous Honus Wagner T206 baseball card. This item is encapsulated by PSA/DNA (83943175) and a prior JSA Auction Letter.
