In 1955 the Brooklyn Dodgers won the team’s final championship in New York City. The 1955 Dodgers were arguably at the end of their championship window, with stars Roy Campanella, Jackie Robinson, Gil Hodges, and Pee Wee Reese all in their 30’s. However, age couldn’t stop Dem Bums, who charged to a hard fought four games to three World Series victory against their cross-town rivals, the New York Yankees.

Offered here is a black commemorative Louisville Slugger baseball bat with the signatures of the Dodgers’ players engraved on the bat. There is also text that reads “Brooklyn Dodgers World Champions 1955” on the bat. The player names and the inscription are rendered in gold ink. This item would be an excellent addition to the collection of any Brooklynite or Dodger fan.
