In 2016 Donald Trump shocked the world through his election to the most powerful political office in the world. The Republican candidate for president fought his way through a crowded field of hopeful nominees, defeating many senators, governors, and other politicians along the way. He based his political platform off his business acumen, pledging to “Make America Great Again” through restructuring trade deals and restoring America to its manufacturing roots.
The item offered here is a copy of Trump’s 2004 book “The Way to the Top: The Best Business Advice I Ever Received.” The book features short anecdotes and advice about succeeding in business from scores of businessmen and women that Trump respects. Contributors include Jerry Reinsdorf, Dave Dombrowski, Jerry Jones, Christie Hefner, George Zimmer, and many more.
Donald Trump himself signed this book in black pen on the inside cover page. He wrote the inscription, “Dear Carol I will never change the hair.” This book was acquired from a man who attended an event featuring Mr. Trump, who ended the event with an autograph session. The owner of this book mentioned to Mr. Trump that his wife, Carol, was a big fan of Mr. Trump and his hairstyle. Mr. Trump obliged, adding the previously mentioned inscription to his signature. This book is an exciting piece of modern presidential history, and would be the perfect addition to any collection.
