Former Major Leaguer Gary Sheffield used this SAM bat during his short stopover in Atlanta. During that 2003 season, Sheffield hit a career-high .330, smashed 39 home runs and drove in 132 runs for the Braves. Sheffield’s SAM G51 model bat is un-cracked and shows light use. There are some ball marks, bat rack streaks and an approximately ½ inch cleat imprint on the barrel. Sheffield’s number “11” is hand written on the knob and the lower handle and knob have been heavily taped to enhance the grip. Sheffield signed the barrel in silver pen adding “Game Used”. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B14559) for the game use and a COA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (C10003) for his signature.
