The NFL has not seen a player like Jim Brown since the day the man himself retired. Even though he only graced NFL fields for nine seasons, the mark he left on the league was indelible. Brown, also one of the greatest lacrosse players of all time, led the NFL in rushing during eight of his nine pro seasons. Brown was inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame in 1971. This 22 x 28 inch stretched canvas artwork was painted by the artist Al Sorenson. It is a heavily stylized portrayal of Brown, wearing his white Cleveland Browns jersey. The background is abstract; a swirling mass of reds and greens and blues. Sorenson signed his name on the bottom left corner of the canvas.
