This commemorative Adirondack bat was made in honor of Larry Doby, the first African-American man to play in the American League, finishing first in home runs in the AL in 1952 and 1954. Doby slugged 32 round trippers both of those seasons. This bat comes with a black metal plaque honoring the Hall of Famer for his accomplishments as a trailblazer and player. Doby signed the barrel of the bat in blue marker. This bat is a limited edition 49 of 64 and comes with a COA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (B53058).
