The Chicago Cubs are one of baseballs storied franchises playing in Wrigley Field. In the Cub's 2011 home opener, the Pittsburgh Pirates defeated the Chicago Cubs 6-3. This jersey is a part of Cubs history and was game used on opening day at historic Wrigley field. Cubs home white pinstriped jersey has number 46 on back with DEMPSTER stitched into the jersey. Jersey has "CUBS" on front left breast, and Cubs logo patch on left sleeve. On right sleeve is the number 10 patch worn in 2011 to commemorate the death of Cubs Hall of Famer Ron Santo. Jersey shows light but definite use as Dempster pitched 6 2/3 innings on this day. Jersey is tagged in front left tail Majestic size 46. Inside jersey are washing instructions tag 0063H. Sewn into collar is "46 52 '11 S3" for number 46, size 52 and year 2011. Jersey is MLB authenticated with hologram and Steiner hologram. This item includes a Cubs LOA, Steiner LOA with matching hologram on jersey.
