After a nearly 25-year career in the Negro Leagues, the great Satchel Paige started pitching in 1948 for the Cleveland Indians at the age of 42, becoming the oldest player to make his debut. His final appearance in a Major League game occurred in 1965 for the Kansas City Athletics. Offered is an attractive 3 x 5 inch cut signed by the great himself. Paige’s blue marker signature is centered on the index card and this item has been encapsulated by SGC, who have graded this Authentic.
