Moses Malone had one of the coolest nicknames in sports. “The Chairman of the Boards”, Moses was simply the most dominant rebounder of his era, possibly in basketball history. The numbers bear it out as the all-time leader in offensive rebounds by more than 2,500, Moses led the league in rebounding six times and is third all-time in total rebounds, combining ABA & NBA statistics. Add to that his three MVP Awards, his Finals MVP and an NBA Championship in 1983, and you have the legacy of a special player, another legend gone too soon.

     Offered is the Philadelphia 76ers road mesh red jersey worn by Malone during his tenure with the Sixers from 1982-86. Manufactured by Wilson, this size 44 jersey features “SIXERS” sewn on across the chest in white and blue tackle twill. Malone’s number “2” is sewn on below “SIXERS” in the same color pattern. The collar and sleeve openings have a ribbed blue, white and red pattern. The Wilson tag is sewn on the bottom front left tail. The back of the jersey has “MALONE” sewn on in white tackle twill above his number “2”, which is sewn on in white and blue tackle twill. The jersey displays evidence of game use with slight discoloration on some of the white tackle twill and the sleeve and collar striping. This jersey comes with a LOA from Moses Malone, Jr. who authenticates use of this jersey by his late father during the above referenced time period.
