Cincinnati Reds first baseman and the 2010 National League MVP Joey Votto wore this gray, button down road jersey during the 2012 season. Votto, a victim of an unfortunate injury, appeared in only 111 games, but still led the National League in both bases on balls and OBP, while also earning the third of his five career All-Star selections.
This jersey has “CINCINNATI” sewn across the chest in red, white, and black tackle twill. Votto’s number “19” is sewn on the chest and back in red, white, and black tackle twill. “VOTTO” is sewn across the back shoulders in a similar fashion. A Reds logo patch is sewn on the left sleeve of this jersey above a Majestic logo. The MLB logo is sewn on the back outside collar. A Majestic tag is sewn on the front left tail of this jersey above a “Property of Cincinnati Reds 2012” tag. A size “52” flag is attached to the Majestic tag. Votto signed the “1” digit on the back of the jersey in black marker. He added the inscription “Game Used 2012” to his signature. This jersey, which shows light use, comes with a LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema for game use, and a COA from PSA/DNA (AB66909) for the signature.
