Presented here are three baseballs signed by Hall of Fame shortstop Phil Rizzuto. A lifelong Yankee, Rizzuto was a five-time All-Star in his 13 seasons. His best season came in 1950, when he claimed the American League MVP Award with a slash line of .324/.418/.439. After his retirement from playing, Rizzuto remained with the Yankees for an additional four decades as a beloved radio and television broadcaster for the team.

     Rizzuto signed the sweet spot of each of these Official American League Bobby Brown baseballs in blue pen as “Phil ‘Scooter’ Rizzuto”. On two of the balls, Rizzuto added the inscription “7-31-94” and “HOF ‘94”. On the third ball, Rizzuto inscribed “1950 AL MVP”. These balls each come with a COA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (HOF balls: C11969, C11970, MVP ball: C11971).
