Arguably the greatest hitting catcher to ever play the game, Mike Piazza used this Marucci bat during the 1996-97 seasons with the Los Angeles Dodgers, hitting .349 with 76 homers and 229 RBI. This Mizuno World Win model bat is cracked on the handle and shows excellent use. There are ball marks with stitch impressions that can be seen on the left barrel along with cleat imprints visible on the right and back barrel. There are blue bat rack paint streaks and an impression of a weighted batting donut. There is a moderate coat of pine tar is found mid-handle and Piazza’s initials “MP” are stamped into the knob and his number “31” is hand written on both ends in blue marker. The Hall of Famer has signed the barrel in black marker adding “G/U”. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B03045) for the game use and has been graded a GU 8.5 and a COA from PSA/DNA (4A10534) for his signature.
