The most recent member of the 600 Home Run Club, Albert Pujols, was issued this Los Angeles Angels home jersey during the 2016 season. Pujols turned back the clock in 2016, hitting 31 home runs with 119 RBI for Mike Scioscia’s Angels. Baseball’s active leader in home runs and RBI, Pujols is only 32 hits shy of joining the vaunted 3,000 Hit Club.
This white, button down jersey has “ANGELS” sewn across the chest in red, blue, white, and gray tackle twill. Pujols’ number “5” is sewn on the chest and back in red and navy blue tackle twill, while “PUJOLS” is sewn across the back shoulders in similar colors. A vinyl MLB logo has been applied to the back outside collar of this jersey. A circular Angels patch and a red Majestic logo are sewn on the left sleeve, while an Angels “A” logo is sewn on the right sleeve. The sides and back tail of this jersey are made of a white mesh fabric. A Majestic size “54” tag is applied to the front left tail of this jersey. Pujols signed the “5” on the back of the jersey in silver marker. This item comes with a LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema and a STICKER ONLY from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (B54958) for the signature.
