Presented here is a collection of three bats used by former MLB closer Lee Smith. Smith played 18 seasons in the Major Leagues, racking up 478 career saves and seven All-Star appearances as one of the first modern closers. He used these three bats during his time with the St. Louis Cardinals, the team he joined midway through the 1990 season and left during the 1993 campaign for the New York Yankees. The three bats are all black Louisville Slugger I13 model bats with “Lee Smith” and “St. Louis Cardinals” etched on the barrels in white. The bats show moderate use, and are accompanied by LOAs from Lee Smith.
