2016 was a career season for Baltimore Orioles third baseman Manny Machado. Machado, already a two-time all-star heading into his fifth season in 2016, finished with career highs in home runs (37), RBI (96) and batting average (.294). Machado used this Rawlings MY13 model bat during his career-best 2016 season. This bat displays outstanding use and is un-cracked. There are many ball marks and ball stitch impressions that are visible on the left, front and back barrel. There are streaks visible from contact with other bats and other markings include blue ink transfers and white leather scuffs. There is a light coating of pine tar on the upper handle and stamped on the knob are the manufacturer’s date “08/01/16”, his initials and number “MM13”, order number “826” and the year “16”. Machado has signed his name in silver marker on the barrel and inscribed “G/U ‘16”. This bat comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA (1B12192), who have graded this bat a perfect GU 10 and a LOA from JSA (Y88550) for his signature.
