Legendary stock car racer Dale Earnhardt Sr. wore this fire suit during the 1992 Winston Cup season. As a member of Richard Childress Racing, Earnhardt finished 12th in the ’92 Winston Cup standings, the only season from 1990 to 1994 that he did not win the title. With seven career Winston Cup championships, Earnhardt is widely recognized as one of the most influential NASCAR racers of all-time. Stock car racing was changed forever on February 18th, 2001, when Earnhardt was killed instantaneously during a crash in the Daytona 500.

This one-piece fire suit is white, black, and red, and features numerous sponsor logo patches sewn on the chest, including those for GM Goodwrench, MAC Tools, Chevrolet, and 76 gas stations. The suit has a zipper front, and black stripes with “GOODWRENCH” sewn on in white adorning the sides of the legs and sleeves. The collar is black, with two red Chevrolet logos embroidered on. Earnhardt signed the chest, adding his iconic number “3” to his signature, on the left chest. This item shows good evidence of use, and comes with LOAs from PSA/DNA (K72011) and JSA (X03181).
