Baltimore Orioles infielder Manny Machado wore this glove during the 2014 MLB season, his third in Majors. Although his performance in 2014 was hamstrung by numerous injuries, Machado was still able to showcase the bat skills and impressive fielding prowess that made him a can’t-miss prospect in the 2010 MLB Draft. Over his six seasons with the Orioles, Machado has been named to three All-Star teams and won two Gold Glove awards. In each of the past three seasons, the Miami-native has surpassed the 30 home run mark, peaking with a career high of 37 in 2016.      This glove is a black leather, 12-inch Rawlings Pro NP5TJB model glove. The webbing is in the “I Web” style, and has a dual-laced palm hinge. The year code “BEBA29” is stamped on the left side of the wrist. A gold Rawlings tag and logo, commemorating Machado’s Gold Glove status, are applied to the wrist and thumb respectively. A third gold Rawlings logo is placed on the top of the webbing. “Machado” is embroidered in orange on the thumb. “Rawlings” is embroidered in orange on the index finger slot, and a “The Gold Glove Co.” tag is sewn on the pinky slot.
