Presented here is a collection of nine baseball admission passes granted to Casey Stengel, the Hall of Fame manager of the Dodgers, Yankees, and Mets. Stengel, who enjoyed a long playing career mainly during the deadball era, was a lifelong baseball man and one of the game’s most beloved characters.

The first pass is a gold metal credit-card sized pass that grants Stengel admission to all Amateur Baseball Association games. The next two passes are from 1975 for the National Association of Professional Baseball Leagues. One is granted to “Charles D. Stengel / New York Mets”, while the second is for “Charles D. Stengel / Hall of Fame”. The next pass is a one-day-only admission pass to a St. Louis Cardinals game on July 8th, 1972 at Busch Stadium. The Cardinals won this game 2-1 over the Houston Astros thanks to Reggie Cleveland’s one run complete game.

Another pass grants “Mr. and Mrs. Charles D. Stengel and Party” to all American League games in 1975. Stengel passed away on September 29th, 1975.

The final passes are included in leather, wallet sized carrying cases. The first is black, and features a New York Mets skyline logo. Inside are two passes, one for the American and one for the National League, for the 1975 season. The next pass is inside a textured, brown leather case. It is a National League pass for 1967. Also included is a pocket schedule for the 1967 season with handwritten notes inside written in blue pen. The final pass is included in a different brown leather case, and is for the 1968 American League season. This item also comes with a pocket schedule, however this one is unaltered.
