Hall of Fame quarterback Brett Favre wore this Green Bay Packers jersey in 2002, his 11th season with the team. Favre, starting all 16 games, led the Pack to a 12-4 record and the NFC North title, although their playoff run would come to an end against Favre’s former team, the Atlanta Falcons. Favre threw for 3,658 yards and 27 touchdowns in 2002 to earn a Pro Bowl nod. Favre retired after the 2010 season, and by 2016 was an inductee into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio.
This dark green home jersey has Favre’s iconic number “4” sewn on the front, back, and shoulders in white tackle twill. “FAVRE” is sewn across the back shoulders in white tackle twill over a matching dark green nameplate. The sleeves and collar are accented with yellow and white, and a NFL shield is sewn on the collar. Reebok logos are sewn on each sleeve, and a “02-52” tag is sewn on the back inside collar of the jersey indicating the year and size of the jersey. There are two miniscule rips on the back tail of the jersey and this jersey shows light wear, which includes a dirt stain on the front “4”. This item comes with a LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema.
