Presented here is a football signed by members of the Look Magazine College Football All-American team of 1963. Back in the days before the NFL reigned supreme over the football world, numerous publications and outlets compiled their own All-America teams at the end of each college football season.

     This Volt football has been signed by numerous Hall of Famers, including Dick Butkus and Carl Eller. Other signatures include Mike Reilly, Vern Burke, Jim Grisham, Jay Wilkinson, Tommy Ford, Steve DeLong, and several more. Additionally, several football related personalities put pen to pigskin on this football. Sportswriter Blackie Sherrod of the FWAA signed his name in black pen, while Barbara Alexander, queen of the Blue Bonnet Bowl, Joyce Clayton of the Liberty Bowl, Jenny Lee of the Gator Bowl, Valerie Vestal of the Gator Bowl and several others have also signed their name on this football. The signatures have been written in blue, black, red, and green pen. This football, which is made of white pigskin and bears “Look / 1963 All America” on the main panel, comes with a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (A81824).
