Presented here is a collection of four signed baseball bats. The first, a Louisville Slugger B267 model bat was manufactured for San Diego Padres closer Trevor Hoffman between 1993 and 1997. This un-cracked bat is two-toned, and has “B267” and “LS” written in the cupped barrel. Hoffman signed the barrel in gold marker. He inscribed this bat to fellow closer Lee Smith, writing “Lee – You’re setting the standard all closers will be shooting for / All the Best”. This item comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B14565), a LOA from Lee Smith, who attests that this bat was given to him by Hoffman and has been in his private collection and a COA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication for the signature (C11926).
The second bat is a Cooper Pro 100 P89 bat manufactured for John Wetteland between 1993 and 1995. It is game ready, and uncracked. “57” is written on the knob in black marker, and Wetteland has signed the barrel in silver marker. The three-time All-Star has inscribed “Rom. 5:1-5” underneath his signature. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B14566), a LOA from Lee Smith, who attests that this bat was given to him by Wetteland and has been in his private collection and a COA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (C11915).
The third bat was manufactured for John Franco between 1991 and 1997. It is and un-cracked Louisville Slugger M110 bat with “31” written on the knob and barrel end in gold marker. Franco signed the barrel of this two-toned bat in gold marker. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B14567), a LOA from Lee Smith, who attests that this bat was given to him by Franco and has been in his private collection and a COA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (C11929).
The final bat belonged to Bob Stanley. It is a black Louisville Slugger 1986 World Series commemorative bat. It has been signed on the barrel in silver marker by Stanley. This item comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B14568), a LOA from Lee Smith, who attests that this bat was given to him by Stanley and has been in his private collection and a COA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (C11930).
