Presented here is a pair of Converse Weapon sneakers, one of which has been signed by Larry Bird. One of the greatest NBA players ever, Bird was a deadeye marksman, tenacious rebounder, and artistic passer. A three-time NBA MVP, Bird overcame a bad back to resuscitate the nascent Celtic dynasty. Perhaps best known for his rivalry with fellow All-World player Magic Johnson, Bird was one of the most popular NBA players during his 13 season career. The only player to win NBA MVP, Coach of the Year, and Executive of the Year, Bird was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 1998. These shoes are black and white, with a white star cut out of the black synthetic material on each side. Bird signed the upper heel of the right shoe in black marker.
