Presented here is an ultra-rare signed pair of Kobe Zoom 1 sneakers, his first true signature release for Nike. These shoes dropped in 2006, when Bryant led the league in scoring at 35.4 points per game. This was also the year Bryant unleashed his signature in-game performance, his 81 point demolition of the overmatched Toronto Raptors. These shoes are white, with a black and red midsole. A black Nike swoosh dashes across the outside of each shoe, while decoration on the opposite side is textured black faux-leather with a similarly colored Nike swoosh. The upper area of these high top kicks is red, with a hole cut out of the back of the heel to reduce weight. The sole is black, white, and red. Kobe’s personal logo is applied to the tongue, while the inside of the tongue says “All Star 2006”. “Uptempo” is printed in red on the two toned heel. Kobe signed the right shoe in black marker, while he signed the left shoe in gold marker. These shoes are both accompanied by a LOA from JSA (right: Y78950, left: Y78951).
