Presented here is a collection of Los Angeles Dodgers memorabilia from 1988 and 1989. In 1988, the Dodgers won the World Series against the Oakland Athletics after a hobbling Kirk Gibson crushed a walk-off home run in Game 1 to start them on the right track. The Dodgers proceeded to win the series in five games, stunning the heavily favored A’s, who would make the next two World Series. The centerpiece of this Dodgers themed lot is a ticket to the famous Game 1. The white stub has been encapsulated and graded an EX 5 by PSA/DNA (16344264). The next item in this collection is a six inch diameter 1988 NL champs Dodger pin. This item, which is yellow and features a team photo of the ’88 Dodgers, is a limited edition 11,043 out of 25,000. The following items in this lot are media guides from the 1988 and 1989 seasons.
