Presented here is a framed Muhammad Ali display. The centerpiece of this display is a signed picture of a young Cassius Clay that has been cut out of a magazine. The young pugilist is shown in a ready stance, his bare hands guarding his upper torso and head. Positioned on either side of this photograph is a picture of Ali raising his hands, while an excerpt from a magazine article about Ali is positioned on the other side. The magazine features a lengthy quote from Sister J. Ellen Huff, who supervised the future champion’s first after school job. Huff provides a glowing review of Ali, who would later become famous for his tireless work ethic. Ali signed the magazine photograph in blue pen, inscribing the date, “Sept 24-76” below his signature. This item, which measures 29 x 18 inches, comes with a LOA from JSA (Z33925).
