Encased in this 24 x 28 inch shadowbox display is a baseball used on September 3rd, 2014 during the New York Yankees game against the Boston Red Sox at Yankee Stadium. The Yanks won this game 5-1, as Derek Jeter finished 1-3 with a run and a walk. Jeter signed the sweet spot of this Official Major League Allan H. Selig baseball in black pen. The background of this shadowbox display shows Jeter swinging his Louisville Slugger P72 model bat, about to make contact with the baseball that is bursting through the glass frame of this piece. This baseball is accompanied by a LOA from Steiner Sports and a MLB Authenticated hologram (HZ 306794), which authenticates the use to the September 3rd game.
