Presented here is a football signed by Hall of Fame quarterback Joe Namath. The former Alabama standout is best known for his flamboyant lifestyle and self-confidence, famously guaranteeing the New York Jets victory in Super Bowl III against the heavily favored Baltimore Colts. A native of the famed quarterback cradle of Western Pennsylvania, Namath has an enduring legacy as one of the great characters in AFL history. He signed this Wilson football in silver marker as “Broadway Joe Namath”. He inscribed “x12” in silver marker beneath his signature. This item comes with a COA from JSA (S34857).
