Indiana Pacers Hall of Fame shooting guard Reggie Miller wore this jersey during the Pacers 1997-98 campaign. Miller, the undisputed star of the Pacers and arguably the greatest player in franchise history, was the talisman and leader of a Pacers team built around a strong veteran core. Alongside Rick Smits, Mark Jackson, and Chris Mullin, the Pacers put together a 58 win campaign in 1997-98. The Pacers were considered one of the strongest team in the Eastern Conference playoffs, dropping the Cavaliers in a four game series and defeating the Knicks for a second time in five games.

They met Michael Jordan and the fearsome Bulls in the Eastern Conference Finals. The Bulls, on the road to their sixth and final championship, were nearly overturned by the upstart Pacers, barely clinging on to a seven game series victory. Miller, whose silky smooth jump shot was clicking throughout the playoffs, averaged 20 points per game for a team that valued defensive tenacity and hustle above all else. Miller retired after the 2004 season, and shortly after became one half of the only brother-sister duo in the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame alongside his older sister Cheryl.

This blue, pinstriped road jersey has “INDIANA” and Miller’s since-retired number “31” sewn on the chest in yellow, navy blue, and white tackle twill. “MILLER” is sewn across the back shoulders in tallow and white tackle twill, while “31” is sewn below in yellow, navy, and white. An Champion manufacturers tag and a size “44” Champion tag are sewn on the front left tail of the jersey. The sides of the jersey feature a yellow stripe bordered in white, while navy blue and yellow accents ring the sleeve and collar openings. Miller has signed the “1” digit on the back in black marker, adding “#31” to his signature. This jersey comes with a LOA from JSA (Z50113) for the signature. A COA from the Pacers and a LOA from MEARS, who have graded this jersey a perfect A10, verify the game use of this jersey.
