Darryl Strawberry followed up his impressive 1986 season, where he was a key contributor to the New York Mets World Series title, with two outstanding seasons patrolling right field at Shea Stadium. The lanky outfielder hit a combined 78 home runs, with 205 RBI and a solid .276 batting average in the 1987 and 1988 seasons.

This Rawlings/Adirondack 113A model bat was used by Strawberry during the 1987 and 1988 seasons and displays heavy use. The handle is cracked but has been secured and there are numerous ball marks, cleat imprints and other markings present throughout the barrel. Strawberry’s number “18” has been hand written in black marker on both the knob and barrel end. There is a moderate coating of pine tar on the upper handle and Strawberry signed his name on the barrel in black marker. This bat comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA (1B07024) and has been graded a solid GU 9.5, and a COA from JSA (S31958) for his signature.
