Presented here is an 8 ½ x 11 ½ inch print of the B-29 Full House bomber that flew in the Hiroshima mission as a weather reconnaissance aircraft. Its destination was Nagasaki, which was a tertiary target for the atomic bomb during the Hiroshima mission, in the event that inclement weather disrupted the flight of the Enola Gay. This print has been signed by five members of the Full House crew, including 2Lt. Raymond Biel, Cpl. Nathaniel T. R. Burgwyn, Sgt. Steve J. Kinosh, Cpl. William B. Reedy, and Cpl. Richard B. Anselme. Each man added an inscription related to their duty on the aircraft. Biel wrote “Co-Pilot”, Burgwyn wrote “Radar Observer”, Kinosh wrote “Asst Crew Chief / A&E Mechanic”, Reedy wrote “A&E Mechanic”, and Anselme wrote “Scanner”. The signatures have been written in blue marker. This item comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (AB12753).
