Presented here is a collection of items signed by a plethora of basketball legends. The centerpiece of this lot is a replica West Virginia University basketball jersey signed by Jerry West. West, an All-Star in each of his 14 seasons with the Los Angeles Lakers, played three seasons in Morgantown before embarking on his professional career. During his time in the NCAA, West averaged 24.8 points and 13.3 rebounds per game without the benefit of a three-point line. West, a member of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, signed the “4” in black marker.

     The remaining items in this lot are stamped cachets signed by basketball legends. Each cachet is single signed, with Hall of Famers Rick Barry, Jim Boeheim, Jim Calhoun, Hubie Brown, Lou Carnesecca, Bob Cousy (cut signature), Adrian Dantley, Cliff Hagan, Sam Jones, Bob Leonard, Nancy Lieberman, Robert Parish, Rick Pitino, Frank Ramsey, Dick Vitale, and Lenny Wilkens. Other signatures include Rod Thorn, Dick Hemric, Billy Gabor, Arnie Ferrin, Lou Dampier, Don Chaney, Ron Bonham, Dick Atha, and Lucius Allen.
