Presented here is a baseball signed by former starting pitcher Vic Raschi, a four-time All-Star and six-time World Series champion with the New York Yankees. Raschi, who made his Major League debut in 1946, won 20 or more games three times in his career. Raschi was an especially good pitcher in the playoffs, winning five World Series games and maintaining a postseason ERA of 2.24. Raschi, who appeared on nine Hall of Fame ballots, signed this ball in blue marker. He signed his name on the panel to the south of the sweet spot on this Spalding Official League baseball. He added the inscription “To Joe / Best Wishes / Vic Raschi”. This item comes with a COA from JSA.
