This 1 ½ x 5 ½ inch cut has been signed by two members of the National Baseball Hall of Fame, Chuck Klein and Bucky Harris, as well as Red Dugan. Klein was one of the National League’s most dangerous hitters during his prime, leading the NL in home runs during four of his first five full seasons. The National League MVP in 1932, Klein became the last player to lead the NL in both home runs and stolen bases in the same year during the 1932 campaign. Klein was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1980, 22 years after his death.

Bucky Harris is the other Hall of Famer to place his signature on this cut. A light-hitting second baseman, Harris played 12 seasons in the majors before transitioning to a managerial role. Harris was an outstanding skipper, managing for 29 seasons, including 18 with the Washington Senators. Harris won his first World Series with the Senators in 1924 as a player-manager, before winning his second in 1947 with the Yankees. He was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1975 by the Veteran’s Committee. The signatures on this cut have been written in gray pencil, while collector’s notations are written in black pen next to the autographs. This item comes with a LOA from JSA (Z58574).
