Presented here is a baseball signed by 25 members of the National League pennant winning Chicago Cubs. The Cubs, under manager Joe McCarthy, won 98 games, setting up a matchup with Connie Mack and his fearsome Philadelphia Athletics. Although the Cubs lost the World Series in five games, it was an incredibly close Fall Classic. Game 2, a 9-3 Philadelphia victory, was the only game to be decided by more than two runs.
