Presented here is a collection of four tickets relating to historic moments in New York baseball. The first ticket is from Game 5 of the 1936 World Series, a 5-4 victory by the New York Giants against the New York Yankees. Although the Yankees would win the series in six games, this contest was a thriller that saw the Giants score the winning run in the top of the 10th inning. This ticket is in good condition, however, it has not been encapsulated.

     The next ticket in chronological order is a ticket from the grand opening of Dodger Stadium, on April 10th 1962. This was the Los Angeles Dodgers first permanent home since their days at Ebbets Field. Although the Dodgers lost this game 6-3 to the Reds, they finished with 102 wins and a second place showing in the National League. This full ticket has been encapsulated and authenticated by PSA/DNA (22721202).

     The third ticket is for Game 3 of the 1962 Fall Classic between the New York Yankees and San Francisco Giants. The Yankees won this game 3-2 to go up two games to one in a series they would eventually win in seven. Bill Stafford threw a complete game for the Yankees, holding the Giants to only four hits. Billy Pierce started for the Giants, and former Yankees World Series hero Don Larsen threw a scoreless inning in relief for the National Leaguers. This full ticket has been encapsulated and graded an EX 5 by PSA/DNA (31169965).

     The final ticket in this collection is from the 1963 World Series, between the Yankees and the Los Angeles Dodgers. The Dodgers swept this series in four games to capture their second World Series championship on the West Coast. This ticket is from Game 2, a 4-1 Los Angeles victory. Johnny Podres earned the victory, throwing 8.1 strong innings, and Al Downing swallowed the loss for a bitterly disappointed Yankees team.
