Presented here are two vintage basketball advertisements from a bygone era. Each advertisement was promoted by Sam Huff, of Pottsville, Pennsylvania. The first poster is green, and advertises a game played by the Philadelphia Colored Stars basketball team. Their “trick shots – fancy plays [and] clever ball handling” are advertised prominently on this poster. This poster measures 14 x 11 inches and is in good condition. The second poster is for a team called the Baltimore Sea Hawks, and other than being red and advertising another team, is identical to the Philadelphia poster. This poster measures 11 x 14 inches and is in fair condition.
