Presented here is a postcard signed by legendary slugger Jimmie Foxx. The second man to reach 500 home runs, Foxx was a three-time American League MVP and one of the premier hitters of his era. He was famed for his thick frame, and as the Hall of Fame pitcher Lefty Gomez said, “He had muscles in his hair”. Foxx, a Triple Crown winner, was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1951. At that point, Foxx was still in second place on the all-time home run chart. Foxx signed this postcard, which dates to 1941, in bold black pen. This item has been encapsulated and graded a MINT 9 by PSA/DNA (81363135).
