Presented here is a photograph signed by a quartet of New York Yankees. Hall of Famers Yogi Berra and Mickey Mantle, two of the brightest stars ever produced by the Yankees, have applied their signatures to this photograph. The other two subjects of the photo, starting pitcher Vic Raschi and first baseman Joe Collins, have also signed the photo. The four men are pictured, all in their home uniform, in a locker room. The men are congratulating Raschi, who, according to the newspaper article affixed to the back of this photograph, had just thrown a one-hitter against the Detroit Tigers. This game was the first game of a doubleheader on July 13th, 1952. Mantle and Berra each homered in the 11-1 victory. This 7 x 9 inch photograph is black and white, and the vintage 1950's signatures have been written in black pen. This item comes with a LOA from JSA (Z58667).
