Presented here are two signed and framed photographs of Ted Williams from the early days of his career. The first was taken during his time with the Minneapolis Millers of the AA American Association. Playing under manager Donie Bush, Williams led the team with 43 home runs and a .366 batting average in 1938, his only season with the team before he joined the Red Sox. Williams is pictured taking a hearty cut in his Millers uniform. He signed this 16 x 20 inch photograph, which comes in a 24 x 28 inch frame, in black marker. This item comes with a LOA from JSA (Z58698).
The second photograph shows Williams during his rookie year with the Sox, when the tall leftfielder hit .327 with 31 home runs and a MLB-best 145 RBI. Williams has signed this photograph, which measures 16 x 20 inches and comes in a 24 x 28 inch frame, in black marker. This item comes with a LOA from JSA (Z58699).
