Presented here is a San Francisco 49ers home red jersey signed by legendary quarterback Joe Montana. Montana won four Super Bowls as a Niner, winning MVP honors in three of them. In Montana’s 15 seasons, he threw for over 40,000 yards and 273 touchdowns, earning a reputation as one of the greatest quarterbacks in the history of the sport. He won two NFL MVP awards and earned eight Pro Bowl appearances in a career that would culminate with his induction to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2000.
This red jersey has Montana’s number “16” sewn on the front, back, and shoulders in white tackle twill. “MONTANA” is sewn across the back shoulders in white tackle twill above a red nameplate. Three white stripes are screen printed on each sleeve. Montana signed the white “1” in black marker. This item comes with a LOA from JSA (Z45718).
