Presented here is a DO34 Custom Cut III Marucci bat signed and inscribed by David Ortiz. One of the greatest designated hitters of all-time, Ortiz was instrumental in turning the Boston Red Sox of the 2000s into a veritable dynasty. With 541 career home runs, Ortiz is rightly regarded as one of the best power hitters of his day. Ortiz, a 10-time All-Star and three-time World Series champion, saw his number “34” retired by the Boston Red Sox early in the 2017 MLB season.
This two-colored black and tan bat features Ortiz’s silver marker signature on the barrel. Ortiz added numerous inscriptions, including “2,408 Games / 2,472 Hits / 1,768 RBI” and “632 2B’s / 541 HR’s / [.]286 AVG”. This bat, which is a limited edition five of 34, comes with MLB (JB 947122) and Fanatics (A101554) Authenticated holograms.
