Chicago Cubs Hall of Fame second baseman Ryne Sandberg wore this warm-up jacket during the early 1990s. Sandberg, who played all but 13 games in his career with the Cubs, won the 1984 National League MVP award and made 10 All-Star teams. Sandberg was a nine-time Gold Glove Award winner, and the recipient of seven Silver Slugger Awards. This jacket is a blue Starter jacket, with a Cubs logo sewn on the left breast. It exhibits light wear. Sandberg’s number “23” is written on the size “L” Starter tag on the back inside collar. This item comes with a LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema.
