Joe Morgan is considered one of the greatest second baseman to ever play the game. His seven consecutive All-Star appearances coincided with the Reds “Big Red Machine” which won Back-to-back World Championships in 1975 and 1976. This bat dates from Morgan’s 1976 season in which “Little Joe” hit .320 with 27 home runs and 111 RBI as he won his second consecutive National League MVP.

This Hillerich & Bradsby S44 bat is un-cracked and shows moderate use. Several ball marks with stitch impressions are visible on the barrel along with cleat imprints. Red and blue bat rack paint streaks can be seen as are black scuffs from contact with other bats. The barrel has a commemorative “Bicentennial” stamp and Morgan has signed his name in bold black marker on the barrel. This is a terrific gamer from the one of the best second-sacker that ever lived. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B14587) and has been graded a GU 8.5 for the game use and a LOA from JSA (Z58684) for his signature.
