St. Louis Rams wide receiver and all-around offensive weapon Tavon Austin wore this royal blue alternate jersey during the Rams 27-3 loss to the Arizona Cardinals at the Edward Jones Dome on December 6th, 2015. Austin, like much of the St. Louis offense, was held in check during this contest, finishing with 14 rushing yards and 24 receiving yards. Austin did have an electrifying 67-yard punt return, but a holding penalty reduced his gain to 29 yards. After the game, Austin and Patrick Peterson, the Cardinals lockdown cornerback, exchanged jerseys.

This jersey is the Rams royal blue throwback alternate home jersey. Austin’s number “11” is sewn on the front, back, and shoulders in yellow tackle twill. “AUSTIN” is sewn across the back shoulders in white tackle twill over a blue mesh nameplate. The shoulders feature the Rams signature horn design, and the collar is yellow with a Nike Flywire design. Yellow Nike swooshes are sewn on the shoulders above the TV numbers. A NFL logo shield is applied to the collar. A Nike size “38 Skill” tag is sewn on the back inside collar. A “2015” flag and a Rams barcode are attached to the tag. Austin signed the second “1” digit on the back in black marker. He added an inscription to Peterson on the first “1”. This item comes with a COA from JSA (S81046) for the signature and a LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema for the game use.
