Houston Texans defensive end Jadeveon Clowney was the anchor to the NFL’s best defense in 2016. Clowney had 40 tackles and six sacks as the Texans reached the playoffs and advanced to the Divisional Playoff round. Clowney wore this navy blue Houston Texans jersey during the October 16th, 2016 game against the Indianapolis Colts at NRG Stadium in Houston. Clowney had three tackles as the Texans defeated the Colts 26-23. This size 44 Nike ON FIELD jersey features Clowney’s number “90” sewn on in white and red tackle twill on the front, back and shortened sleeves. This combination mesh and knit jersey has “CLOWNEY” sewn on in white tackle twill on a matching navy blue name plate on the back of the jersey above his number. The red v-neck collar has a vinyl NFL shield sewn on the base and the shoulders have a red stripe. “TEXANS” is embroidered in white above the numbers and the Nike tag with the “2016” flag are sewn on the inside back collar. This jersey shows solid game use with numerous scuff marks and abrasions, consistent with use on FieldTurf. Clowney signed his name in black marker on the “9” on the back of the jersey and inscribed “#90”. This jersey comes with a COA from NFL PSA/DNA (2N32241), which authenticates the use of this jersey by Clowney during the October 16th game and his signature. This jersey has also been photo matched to the October 16th game as well.
