Nicknamed “Mr. October” for his clutch postseason hitting, Reggie Jackson was one of baseball’s most dangerous sluggers during the 1970’s and 1980’s. He won World Series MVP honors in 1973, which he combined with the regular seasons AL MVP award, and in 1977. Jackson spent his career with the Kansas City/Oakland A’s, Baltimore Orioles, New York Yankees, and California Angels, hitting a total of 563 home runs. In 1993, Jackson was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame.
The item offered here is a navy blue, flapless Yankees batting helmet. An interlocking “NY” logo decal is applied to the front of the helmet. An ABC logo and MLB logo are applied to the back below a white “44” decal. Jackson signed the brim of the helmet in silver marker. This item comes with a COA from JSA (S31916).
